Ok since no one put this down I though I might as well copy it from blueoctane.com
pokesquare.net/atcm/ Doesn't work right now.
{Dragonflycave.com} This is the best spriting guide I've found so far. I might make one of my own, but not at the moment.
{http://www.freewebs.com/howtosprite/} This one is a nice site also.
{http://neopets.com/~jolteon55_2000} For learning how to make trainer cards.
Remember, people don't become experts in a matter of days. It takes a lot of determination and practice to go through with all of this. Just give it time and it will all come to you in time.
If you're just starting out, go with this chart.
Beginners-re-colors/re-vamps
Moderate-basic fusions/color swaps(putting absol's colors on umbreon)/original sprite making(official sprite size is 64x64)
Advanced-pixel-overs, advanced fusions(more than two pokemon fused, recolored with an original set of colors, etc.)
Expert-All of the above, scratch pictures/drawings with more than one beings included, and advanced pixel overs(being able to make a 2,000x2,000 pic into a small 100x100 sprite. The smaller, the better.)
Professional(pros)-All of the above
Final Words
Remember, dreams do come true.

Sprite sources
PokemonElite2000 For a lot of video game sprites (trainers/pokemon/some landscape)
The Pokemon Sprite Generator For quick pokemon sprites. Just put in a few names and you'll get a few sprites of that pokemon. You can also use it's "random" feature
Trainer Card Sprites Thanks to Koroku at pokecommunity for this.
For making maps/landscape Thanks to Zealot Leader for this one
Lots of Sprites! A lot of credit goes to New001
Pokemon Tiles Given by CM, who put a disclaimer on it.
Some tips, curtousy of ReyMysterio.
To put the pictures in your signature, you have to click User CP at the top of the page and click edit signature. To put images in your signature you have to upload the file at www.imageshack.us and copy/paste the first code into where you want the picture to appear.
To fuse you have to go on paint. First you have to get the pokemon sprites either at www.dragonflycave.com/testing.htm or www.pokemonelite2000.com To put each part where they need to go you have to use a button called select (the top right button) You make a field around the part you want to move. Then you right click it and copy paste it where you want it to go.
To recolor you just have to get the pokemon sprite and color it on paint. Be sure to shade. It would look better if used the same color, too.
Hopefully that will answer some of your questions. If you couldn't understand this then go here. www.dragonflycave.com
Note: This is so you don't have to go to blueoctane.com and looked for it.
All credit to Fury since he made this in the first place.
